Our Ideology

With the age of unipolar supremacy over and a multipolar order emerging, where does the once-dominant United States of America stand?

Today’s world is a battlefield of competing revanchist visions. Russia aggressively seeks to reclaim its wealthy Soviet sphere of influence. China pursues expansionist policies under the guise of reversing “unequal treaties.” And one can only imagine the new ideas to follow as new regional powers emerge across the globe.

Yet, the United States has failed to articulate its own version of “revanche.”

That is not to say that there is nothing to reclaim. In fact, rather than seeking territorial conquest, American revanchism manifests as a necessary restoration of domestic, political, and economic capability. To secure its future, we believe the United States must reverse three critical losses:

  • Global Power: The degeneration of strategic deterrence has damaged Washington’s credibility as a peace-keeping force abroad, pushing the nation into secondary conflicts while competitors build industrial power.

  • Economic Power: Unchecked financialization has captured public regulatory agencies and harmed domestic supply chains, marginalizing the material interests of working citizens.

  • Cultural Power: The decline of traditional civic institutions has fragmented local communities, replacing self-governance and active political participation in younger generations with consumerist passivity.

We believe the American republic still has the potential to anchor global peace. But international peace cannot exist without internal order. With the Constitution as our guide, America’s first priority should be national security, thus becoming our guiding motto: “Peace through order. Order through security.”

Our Publication

  1. U.S Policy: We cover developments and analyses of economic, domestic, and foreign policy in the United States. International strength can only come from domestic understanding.

  2. International Policy: We analyze the domestic and foreign politics of American allies and opponents alike. The world is an intricate place, and we write articles on foreign powers with their cultural paradigms and unique political dynamics in mind.

  3. Opinions: Our opinion section is dedicated to articles espousing the views of volunteer writers, staff, and others. Our staff maintains an uncommon array of opinions that we believe are worth writing about to promote ideological discussion.

We are a young publication and an expanding team of writers/analysts. If you want to contribute to or collaborate with The Carolean in any way, please see the “Contact” section of the website.
